New 4 Week Online Dog Training Class

We are so excited to share that our brand new 4-week online dog training class is officially in the works!
For years, we’ve worked with dogs and their owners to build better communication, stronger relationships and well-mannered companions. One thing we consistently see is that many dog owners want guidance but don’t always have the time or flexibility to attend in-person classes every week. That’s exactly why we created this program.
Our goal with this course is to make professional dog training accessible, practical and easy to follow from the comfort of your own home.
This class is designed for both puppies and adult dogs who need to learn or refresh the fundamentals. Whether you’re bringing home a brand new puppy, adopting a rescue dog or simply want to strengthen your dog’s manners and responsiveness, this program will provide the tools and structure you need to succeed.
The truth is that every dog benefits from clear guidance, consistency and communication. Dogs thrive when they understand what is expected of them, and training is one of the best ways to provide that clarity. Our program focuses on building those foundational skills so your dog can become a calm, confident and well-behaved member of your family.
Whether you’re starting completely from scratch or looking to improve existing behaviors, this course will help you build the strong foundation you and your dog need for long term success.

Why Foundational Training Matters
Training is about much more than teaching a dog to sit or lie down. At its core, training is about communication and relationship building.
Dogs are constantly learning from their environment and from the people around them. Without guidance, they may develop habits that can become frustrating for owners, such as jumping, pulling on the leash, ignoring commands or getting into things they shouldn’t.
Foundational training helps prevent those challenges by teaching your dog to behave in ways that fit smoothly into everyday life.
When your dog understands basic cues and boundaries, everyday activities become easier and more enjoyable. Walks become calmer. Visitors become less stressful. Your dog learns how to settle, focus and respond to you even when distractions are present.
Another major benefit of training is confidence. Dogs who understand expectations tend to feel more secure in their environment. Instead of guessing what to do, they have clear guidance from their owners.
For puppies, this type of training sets the stage for lifelong good habits. For adult dogs, it can help reshape behaviors and create a fresh start built on positive reinforcement and clear communication.
No matter your dog’s age, breed, or background, building these core skills can make a huge difference in your day-to-day life together.

What Your Dog Will Learn
Our program focuses on the essential skills that every dog should know. These behaviors help create a dog that is easier to live with, safer in everyday situations and more responsive to their owner.
Throughout the course, we break down each skill step by step so that both you and your dog can learn in a clear, structured way.
Some of the core behaviors we will cover include:
Sit
“Sit” is one of the most important foundation cues in dog training. It teaches your dog self-control and gives you an easy way to redirect behavior when needed. Sit is often the first skill used to build more advanced behaviors later on.
Down
The “Down” cue encourages calm behavior and helps dogs learn how to settle. It is especially helpful when you want your dog to relax during meals, when guests visit, or during quiet time in the home.
Wait
“Wait” teaches patience and impulse control. This skill is incredibly useful in everyday situations like waiting at doors, pausing before exiting a car or holding a position while preparing food.
Come
A reliable recall can be one of the most important safety skills your dog ever learns. Teaching your dog to come when called builds trust and helps ensure they return to you, even in the presence of distractions.
Watch Me (Focus Work)
Focus is the key to successful training. When your dog learns to make eye contact and pay attention to you, it becomes much easier to guide their behavior. This exercise strengthens communication and engagement between you and your dog.
Name Recognition
Your dog’s name should mean something important it should get their attention. In this course, we teach dogs to respond quickly when their name is called so they naturally turn their attention toward their owner.
Leash Walking
Many dog owners struggle with pulling during walks. We will teach techniques that help your dog learn how to walk calmly beside you. This makes daily walks more enjoyable and helps prevent frustration for both you and your dog.
Leave It
“Leave it” teaches your dog to ignore things they shouldn’t pick up or interact with. This cue can be extremely helpful for preventing dogs from grabbing food, chewing on inappropriate objects or picking up things outside.
Potty Training
For puppy owners, especially, potty training is often one of the biggest challenges. In this program, we walk you through a clear, practical system that helps your dog develop appropriate bathroom habits while preventing common setbacks.
Off
Jumping on people or furniture can become a frustrating habit if not addressed early. Teaching “Off” helps your dog understand boundaries and how to greet people politely.
Mouthing & Biting Prevention
Puppies explore the world with their mouths, but it’s important that they learn appropriate boundaries early on. We will cover strategies to prevent excessive mouthing, nipping, and biting so your puppy learns safe and gentle interactions.
Together, these core skills help shape a well-mannered, confident dog both at home and out in the world.

What’s Included in the Course?
This program is not just a collection of videos. It is designed to be a complete learning experience that supports you throughout the entire training process.
We want to make sure you feel confident and supported as you work with your dog.
Step-by-Step Video Lessons
Each training concept is demonstrated through clear and easy-to-follow videos. These lessons walk you through exactly how to teach each behavior so you can see the techniques in action.
You’ll be able to watch the lessons at your own pace and revisit them whenever you need a refresher.
Easy-to-Follow Reading Materials
In addition to the videos, you’ll receive written materials that reinforce the training concepts. These guides break down the steps, explain the reasoning behind each exercise, and provide helpful reminders for successful training sessions.
Practical Training Exercises
Learning happens through practice. Each week, you’ll receive specific exercises designed to help your dog apply the skills they are learning. These activities are designed to be realistic and easy to incorporate into your daily routine.
Even short training sessions can make a big difference when they are done consistently.
Email and Phone Support
One of the biggest challenges people face with online training is feeling stuck or unsure about what to do next. That’s why we offer email and phone support throughout the entire four-week course.
If questions come up or you run into a training challenge, we are here to help guide you through it.
You won’t be doing this alone.
Our goal is to support you and your dog every step of the way so you can continue moving forward with confidence.
The Benefits of Online Training
Online dog training offers several advantages that make learning easier for both dogs and their owners.
One of the biggest benefits is flexibility. You can complete lessons on your own schedule and train at times that work best for your routine.
Another benefit is that your dog learns in the environment where they spend most of their time, your home. This can often make training more effective because the behaviors are practiced in real-life situations.
Online training also allows you to revisit lessons as often as you want, which can be incredibly helpful when reinforcing skills over time.
For busy dog owners, this type of learning format makes professional training more accessible while still providing the structure and guidance needed for success.
Bonus After Graduation
Once you complete the course, we want to continue supporting your progress.
That’s why every graduate will receive two additional training sessions after finishing the program.
You can choose between:
Two virtual lessons
Or two in-person lessons
These sessions allow us to fine-tune your training, address any remaining questions and help you continue progressing beyond the basics.
Sometimes just a small adjustment in technique can make a big difference, and these sessions give us the opportunity to personalize the training even further for you and your dog.
Our goal is to make sure the skills you learned during the course continue to grow and strengthen over time.
Our Training Philosophy
Our approach to training focuses on clear communication, consistency and positive reinforcement.
Dogs learn best when they are guided in a way that makes training rewarding and engaging. By reinforcing desired behaviors and providing clear expectations, dogs naturally begin to repeat the behaviors that lead to positive outcomes.
We also focus heavily on helping owners understand how dogs learn. When you understand your dog’s perspective, training becomes easier, more effective, and far more enjoyable.
Training should never feel overwhelming. With the right structure and guidance, it becomes a fun and rewarding experience for both you and your dog.
